I use them in my classroom to project the sound from my laptop. Some of the student training exercises have low sound and with the volume control on the speakers I can increase enough so even the students all the way in the back of the room can hear.

I needed speakers I could run from my Ipod and my Samsung Galaxy. These speakers were so inexpensive that I didn't really expect a lot of them. But they have great sound, great volume, absolutely awesome.
